800 miles northeast of the catastrophic earthquake in Sichuan, they felt dizzied by the motion. Walls in their Evergreen office and one apartment building cracked.

Pray for all those affected. “Noticeably, the first to come forth were Christians with the desire to do care for victims…”

Pray for friends Brian and Pauline Robinson (who worked in the past with Evergreen) now doing medical work in Sichuan with Heart to Heart, International. USA TODAY reported on May 22, “More than 400 hundred people have volunteered at Heart to Heart since the earthquake.”

Vacation Bible School is coming…sooner than you’d think!
Several Volunteer Work Days have been planned, to work on the various preparations needed to make this Bible School great FUN for all the kids, and an effective outreach and learning time.

Aug. 1-10, Loveland, CO VBS Missions Trip
The Teens that are going are looking for some WORK PROJECTS to raise funds for this trip. If you have some cleaning, yard work, babysitting or other projects, please contact Pastor Joel.
This trip is an important building experience in the lives of our Youth. Last year, they were able to minister to up to 75 unchurched children with their VBS in the park. Danny & Sarah Mendez, church-planting missionaries, host the group and coordinate from that end.

GCS Cookbook Project: Thank you all so much for the great response! Your support for GCS is really appreciated. We have sold all 200 copies! If you missed out, we do have the possibility of ordering more. These will need to be prepaid ($10/each), and we will hold all money until we have a minimum order of 25 copies for the printer.
