  • The end of April brought unexpected and welcome rain. Farmers are starting of think of their fieldwork and potential crops. That’s where we are, too—keeping at the field work of language study and relationship building and looking at the potential crop of believers. Pray with us that the Lord would work in hearts here.”

  • Katie finishes up her 1st year of Bible school in Iowa this month, and will be staying there with Lea’s parents for the summer.

  • Thanks for being a part of our lives as we work and minister among the Pwo KaRen.”

May 25, *9:00 a.m. Sunday School for all ages; 9:55 a.m. Coffee & Fellowship 10:15 a.m. Morning Worship with Rev. Ken Polley speaking 6:30 p.m. Evening Service.

*9:00 a.m. Laurence and Shirley Sutherland will be sharing with the Adult Sunday School Classes of their 50 years of service and ministry for the Lord. There will be an Program at 3:00 p.m.in the afternoon followed by an Open House Fellowship and Coffee hour with opportunity to visit with them.

June 1, 7:40 p.m. The families of Greg & Charlie Clark, Megan Dorholt, Jere, Jesse and Naomi Durocher, Isaac Holm, Ben Scherer and Gabe Stejskal. invite you to Graduation Open House Fellowship Time following the evening service in Nelson Hall.

June 15, 10:15 a.m. The TEEN CHALLENGE MEN’S CHOIR will have the morning service for a concert of testimony and song.

July 21-25 have been set aside for Vacation Bible School this year. The Theme is “AMAZON EXPEDITION: the Ultimate Trek Through Time” using materials from Answers in Genesis.

August 20-23 FAMILY CAMP DATES at Miracle Bible Camp. Reserve those dates on your schedules!

 

 

The TODDLER (2’s-3’s) Sunday School Class is in need of a Teacher! Contact Jennifer Rygh if you are willing to help out in this area.

The NURSERY/CHILDREN’S CHURCH COMMITTEE is looking for help with supplies for the children’s ministries. If you would like to sign up to provide an item or two, there is a table in the lobby with suggestions.

  • Electronic Message Boards (“blogs”) have been set up for three areas: Church events (contact Carolyn Adamson), Youth announcements (Contact Pastor Rygh) and Grace Christian School postings (Contact Bryan Kemen). You can get information to these people by using the “Contact Us” tab at the top of the home page, which will send an email, or a phone call will work, as well.

  • This is a quick way to get information posted…i.e. cancellations, reports or announcements of gatherings or meetings.
