Getting to know La Familia Méndez
Danny Méndez
Having been born in the US and having parents from Costa Rica has given Danny a unique perspective on life in the United States for immigrant families from Latin America. Danny’s dad is a Medical Missionary who came to the US to start Spanish-speaking churches in Latino communities.
Danny felt called by God to prepare for the ministry and attended the Moody Bible Institute where he studied Bible Theology. In July of 1999, Danny and his wife Sarah moved to Denver to help start a Spanish church with the Rocky Mountain Baptist Conference. This experience grew Danny’s passion for church planting among Latinos and gave him experience in the joys and trials of starting new churches. Currently Danny is serving as Lead Church Planter for a new Spanish work in Loveland, CO. Danny enjoys playing the guitar and spending time with his family.

Were you to drop by the Méndez home on any given day, you would be likely to find our twin daughters plunking out a tune on the piano, singing at the top of their lungs and running, jumping and doing headstands and flips. There would probably be forts built out of blankets, towels and pillows set up in their room providing shelter for all of their precious babies. Those precious babies include but are not limited to dolls, stuffed animals and most recently 8 multi-colored water balloons. &nb
